Just as the schools are now back in full swing Perthshire Youth Brass are also busy preparing for one of our highlights of the year, the Scottish Youth Championships in our very own Perth Concert Hall. This year they take place on Sunday 26th November so this weekend PYB will be upping sticks to Pitlochry for a full rehearsal weekend to work on our exciting programme, as well as having lots of fun and letting members new and old get to know one another.
PYB has competed in the youth championships since 2007 and enjoyed lots of success along the way. The youth championships are a great way to get young players across Scotland involved in the wider brass band community, giving them the experience of taking part in national competition in our home town, and the opportunity to create their own piece of Perthshire Brass history. Above all, the youth championships are about celebrating the talents of young players across the country and Perthshire Youth Brass are always well represented.
For those who don’t yet have tickets, fear not, extra tickets can be bought from Perth Concert Hall box office on the day. We hope to see as many of our supporters there are possible.
