On December 10th 2018, Perthshire Brass were in attendance alongside hundreds of former pupils, colleagues and friends to pay tribute to the life of George Annan - founder and stalwart of the band who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on November 30th. The Annan family wish to thank everyone who has been in touch, and say that your kind words have been a source of genuine comfort during this difficult time. Perthshire Brass will honour Mr Annan in due course, alongside the trophy for most improved player he presented annually which already bares his name. George is survived by 4 children and 2 grandchildren, all of whom are part of the band.
