2023 is set to be an exciting year for the band. We are currently preparing for the Scottish Championships, which take place in Perth Concert Hall in March. In Spring, we have a number of concerts in the diary including a fundraiser at RDM Institute in Scone, an appearance at Perth Festival of the Arts, then it’s all about preparation for tour. We head off to Aschaffenburg, our twin city in Germany, this summer for a week of concerts in around the beautiful city. Our long standing friendships there will be rekindled since our last visit in 2016, and it will be a chance for lots of our players to experience a Perthshire Brass tour for the first time.
In August, our youth band will begin preparations for the Scottish Youth Championships in November, and before we know it we will be performing our usual busy schedule of Christmas concerts.
